Technical Officer

About the Role

The Technical Officer for the Executive Office is a seasoned communication professional responsible
for overseeing editorial strategy and all written content of the Executive Office, in support of the
agency’s executive vision and goals, while maintaining the agency’s tone and brand voice.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Messaging: Be able to translate the EON CEO’s, President’s, and other Executives’
    vision, values, and ideas to well crafted written content in the form of speeches, opinion
    pieces, presentations, etc., ensuring a consistent and powerful voice. These materials may be
    used for public speaking engagements, thought leadership programs, or social media
    channels.
  • Research: Ensure that all materials released from the Executive Office follows EON’s principles
    on truth-telling by producing a proper and comprehensive research on the topics. Monitor and
    stay updated on the latest news and trends by following credible sources.
  • Project Management: Work closely with other departments, such as creatives, media relations,
    and digital teams and oversee the editing and publication of content across target channels
    such as websites, social media, and digital and printed publications.

Qualifications

  • Grammar, style, and persuasive storytelling
  • Project management skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, and digital marketing best practices
  • Adaptability and agility
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/PR, Marketing, Psychology, Creative Writing, Literature, or
    related field
  • At least 5 years of work experience in communications field
  • Communication and editorial skills
  • Highly curious
  • Has a knack for storytelling, and can translate this into presentations
  • Immersed in popular culture
  • Has good presentation skills
