About the Role
EON’s Strategic Planner reports directly to the Head of Planning and Analytics, and is responsible for
providing strategic direction and guidance for the agency’s current and potential clients based on
market needs, trends, and behaviors. Strategic Planners within EON will work closely with the agency’s
Analysts, Accounts Teams, and Creatives.
Responsibilities
Research and Insight Creation
- Provide research and observations throughout the communication planning process (pre, live
and post engagement analysis) - Take on the lens of specific consumer types, to bring forth insights on their behaviors and
motivations - Take on the lens of brands and their competitors, to bring forth insights on potential opportunity
areas - Discover trends and/or cultural nuances that appeal to different stakeholders
Strategy Development
- Develop and propose strategies to most effectively address current and potential clients’
objectives, as well as to bridge these to strategic, surprising, and sustainable executions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/PR, Marketing, Psychology, Creative Writing, Literature, or
related field - At least 1-2 years of work experience in communications field
- Highly curious
- Has a knack for storytelling, and can translate this into presentations
- Immersed in popular culture
- Has good presentation skills
- Collaborative
- Can work well with different teams
- Logical and strong deductive reasoning
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter; Ability to work independently
