About the Role

The Senior Account Manager is a PR professional that shall act as a second-in-command to the Associate/Account Director when it comes to the satisfactory delivery of client requirements. This is a junior leadership role that shall be one’s professional transition from purely account management and client servicing support role to a strategic consultant and people management role.

True to all client servicing roles, a Senior Account Manager shall not only specialize in one brand but shall be immersed in handling PR work for a wide array of industries such as F&B, financial tech, healthcare, consumer tech due to his/her team’s assigned client companies or brands.

Responsibilities

Communication Strategies

  • Co-leads research, ideation, and brainstorming for pitch proposal or organic client’s new requirement
  • Co-leads development of communication plans based on client’s brief (PR, events, marketing executions and talent/influencer proposals)

Account Management

  • Is assigned to independently take on accounts or projects, with guidance from Associate/Account Director as may be needed
  • Leads the timely delivery of the scope of work of each of his/her designated accounts
  • Leads the post-project evaluation that evaluates the project’s results against the predetermined objectives
  • Submits the post-project or post-campaign reports including accomplishment report, final materials for credentials and documentation, photo or video documentation
    report.
  • Co-develop scope of work and third party costs with Associate/Account Directors
  • Plan client’s project budget and monitor expenses

Team Management

  • Monitors projects trackers, leads alignment meetings, and provides guidance and constructive feedback to internal team to maximize performance
  • Work with the Human Resources team in screening potential team members, assess performance and recommend development plans of existing team members.

EON Foundation and EON advocacies

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, beneficiaries, and partners
  • Lead project management on advocacy campaigns such as EON’s Branding the Philippines advocacy and Philippine Trust Study

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a communications firm or as an inhouse communication professional
  • At least 1 year of team leadership experience
